I was once a powerful Magic-User. That's right, a Magic-User in 1st edition. I had it all, and I was like 14th level. I was once head of a powerful Guild and stuff. Anyway, I was hanging out with these complete douchebags, when what do you know, I run out of spells in this tomb. Then this wight comes along and bitch slaps the hell out of me, 13 times. Yeah, just like that game Chutes and Ladders? I went all the way back to Level 1, it was terrible. Then a zombie killed me, because zombies are WAY TOO TOUGH. This was probably a long time ago. Anyway, here I am. _________________ The GM is your friend.

I'm still here. Work is proceeding apace.
Greg, go ahead and get your equipment, and choose from one of these three spell books:
Book I
Friends
Fog
Ignore
Book II
Magic Vestment
Sense Magic
Thought Projection
Book III
Force Bolt
Water Walk
Seal Portal
I want to get at least one more person in on this. Are you there, Greyfaced? It's me, Moth.
I'll see if David, the guy who played Beatrix in my first Wayfarers game wants in.
....
I was going to call it Twylos: New Moon, but No Hope is pretty funny too. I mean, you're already dead, how much hope could you possibly have? I was even going to start it with star-warsy intro, but Swill beat me to it. Damn. |

Huh. Okay, I'll take Book I, Pat.
Friends, Fog, and Ignore. Check. Huh, Friends lasts for one day. Hey Mitch, wanna see a magic trick?
Just kidding. Can't waste that spellpoint on a hobbit.
Anyway, okay, I got 96 silvers.
...
Out of game, I'll head on over to the gang writin' up their Twylos adventures, see if they want in. _________________ The GM is your friend. |

In his better days, Dutch was a traveling priest of Zhol. He would journey from town to town and preach incomprehensibly to anyone who would listen, sustaining himself primarily on a diet of cheap meat and ale. No one knew from where he had come, and few deigned to listen to his thickly-accented ravings.
Disheartened by his inability to inspire, Dutch threw himself into a new career - vanquishing evil wherever it lurked. Having learned of a foul infestation of undead in a series of local caverns, Dutch set off with trusty hammer to destroy the unholy abominations.
That evening, as he crested the final rocky hill to reach the cave mouth, he raised his maul to the heavens, gathering his courage and resolve for the task ahead. He was promptly struck by lightning, killing him instantly and spectacularly.

Woke up to the soothing sound of pouring rain
The wind would whisper and I'd think of you
And all the tears you cried, that called Brogg's name
And when you needed me I came through
I paint a picture of adventures gone by
When Brogg went blind and you would make me see
I'd stare a lifetime into your eyes
So that I knew that you were there for me
Time after time you were there for me
Remember yesterday, walking hand in hand?
Brogg letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, through every endless day
I wanna hear you say...
I remember you _________________ The GM is your friend. |
