I've started some work on a NPC folio. However, this and Ars M's factions got me thinking about making a PC kit supplement. Basically, it will be a free PDF with some character archtypes levels 1-10. It will simply contain skill development for each level so that a lazy player could use it for advancement, or a GM could use it as a NPC template on the fly.
Here's the Archtypes I'm planning on making: Barbarian, Fighter, Knight, Paladin, Thief, Assassin, Cleric, Wizard, Monk, Illusionist, Bard, Druid.
I'll post the first draft once I have it. _________________ Take a page out of the Unicorn Bible and dance all night by the Light of the Dragon's flame. -Champions of Breakfast |

Here's an example of what I'm putting together: Thief Kit.
It's more of a player rather than a GM reference, but it could be used for NPCs.
Thoughts are welcome. _________________ Take a page out of the Unicorn Bible and dance all night by the Light of the Dragon's flame. -Champions of Breakfast |

Excellent stuff - I'd enjoy seeing more of this.
I've found that inducting new players into a point-buy system always takes time, so some archetype templates to fall back on will be very handy. _________________ Aesthetics trumps mechanics. |

Out of curiosity, why was the Druid kit not included in the Characters supplement (a very useful product btw)? _________________ My campaign's rules

If I remember correctly, it was because aside from some Wilderness Lore and Herbalism, the Druid archetype would be largely defined by the deity followed. But then again, it's possible I omitted it by mistake. I honestly can't remember. It was a very busy time. Hm. Maybe I'll have a go at one and toss it in WGJ3. _________________ Take a page out of the Unicorn Bible and dance all night by the Light of the Dragon's flame. -Champions of Breakfast |
