No biggie really, but ja make em.....
The classic "what do you do?" made me chuckle.
Hey Greg? I take it that Herbalism with a focus on Drugs is cool, and also Trade with a focus on intoxicants is good for a bar owner/drug dealer guy....
Oh, and is there some slaver tongue or whatever....trade speak whatnot....If not I guess I can talk to myself in secret.... |

Ya, we'll use Herbalism as the catch-all for drugs and non-magical alchemy. Might be introducing an optional Poison Lore skill in one of the upcoming WGJs, but it's non-canon.
'Fleshtongue' is the older pre-Slavers Guild language. The Guildmasters, when the Guild was first assembled, tried to curb its usage, but it's stuck around, mainly for slang and ease of communication with gestures in large crowds.

Ya everyone, please do the thing. So you can post as much about your guy as you want, the more the better- but absolutely you gotta let me know your Dodge and Health. Knowing what profs and disps you have too would be good, i.e., if you're a wizard or speak French or whatever. _________________ The GM is your friend. |

The 'Common Tongue' if you will of where you guys start is Gossick.
Other common languages in the area, that you could passably get by with, would be Vussan and Zhellan. Vussan and Gossick are related, similar to Italian and Spanish in our world, so there's some mutual overlap. Continuing the analogy, Zhellan would be more like German- not many common words or idioms, but the alphabet is the same (based on the old Irendi alphabet), and the grammar is fairly similar.
The Ixian tongue is spoken, but everyone's at war with the Ixians right now, so it ain't such a popular choice. _________________ The GM is your friend. |
