Is it just me or is increasing your physical and mental resistances far too cheap? It seems to me that at only 1 point per grade you can render yourself almost immune to disease, poison, magic etc for a modest point investment. Am I reading that wrong or is it correct? |

Welcome to the forum torquar!
I would be interested in hearing Jimmy's insight on your question.
The way I read it, it certainly would be possible for a character to have high resistances but it can only be increased by one grade per level regardless of the cost. Near immunity would only occur at higher levels and at a relatively significant skill point investment.
Lets take a 9th level character for example, he might potentially have purchased Increased Physical Resistance X and Increased Mental Resistance X to get +10 to both his resistances at the cost of 20 out of his 90 discipline points (22% of all his character abilities).
If you believe it to be too cheap, you might want to increase its cost to 2 points per grade and/or cap the disciplines to five ranks like it is the case for Magic Resistance. _________________ My campaign's rules
