I was into it. Really liked the finale too.

While the major twist at the end I didn't see coming, I totally called the very end- wrapping up just like it started. (Except for the dog. Didn't see that coming either.)

Anyway, me and mine sat in a bar watching the finale. Usually watch it online sans commercials, it was weird to see commercials again. And dear lord, there are a lot of vampire tv shows now. WTF

Regarding your comment on vampires: WTF indeed.

I'm a fan of the concept of the monstrous vampire with unlikely strength enhanced by a maddened, inhuman state of being. Just subtly human enough to be terrifying, y'know?

Now vampires are portrayed as pale, comedically dramatic rubes looking for a quick shag.

Or, you know, Slobodan Milosevic.
