If you've found a typo/problem in the Wayfarers rulebook, here's the place to post it. I will periodically update a master list in this post.
ERRATA:
pg. 128: Annul spell; "round at of before" should read "round at or before".
pg. 128: Annul spell; "creature’s" should read "creatures"
pg. 129: Elemental form spell; Add parentheses to "Swimming check of 10 per round to resist."
pg. 317: Will o' the Wisp; Armor should read 'none'.
pg. 107: Stun spell; "Duration: 1-2 rounds" should read "Duration: 1-3 rounds".
pgs. 16, 242, 430: Advance Counterattack; The prerequisite for Advanced Counterattack is the Counterattack discipline. Must be corrected on GM screen as well.
pg. 182: Armor-making; Ring armor should take 3-4 weeks to make, with a target number of 8. (Thanks Zanshin at RPG.net)
pg. 194: Creating new spells; "and whether not" should read "and whether or not". (Thanks Wizard)
pg. 236: Silent Casting is not an optional Discipline and should not be there. (Thanks JimLeCat)
pg. 43: Thought Projection is out of alphabetical order in the spell list.
pg. 187: In Martial Knowledge, 'access' and 'accessing' should be 'assess' and 'assessing'.
pg. 33: Armor impedance explanation should mention adjustments due to strength and disciplines.
pg. 16: Advance Counterattack; If the optional Critical Hit rules are not used, it might be possible to purchase Advanced Counterattack by spending 26 pts (the cost of Counterattack and Advanced Counterattack).
pg. 235. Conversational Casting; should require a Sleight-of-hand check for each verbal or gestured component.
pg. 165: Vaidehi's dagger should be magical: +2/+2.
pg. 216: Robe of the Mage; should read '(2 hours)' for 1/2 normal time.
pg. 239: 'flush out' should be 'flesh out'.
pg. 414: A distance scale may be added to next printing.
pg. 18: Evasion; "whose initiatives are 6 or lower" should be "whose initiatives are 7 or lower".
pg. 124: Eye of God spell; "preist" should read "priest".
pg. 9: Step 7; "Flush" should read "Flesh".
pg. 31: Character Personality; "flushed-out" should read "fleshed-out".
pg. 192: Wilderness Lore; "access the dangers" should read "assess the dangers".
pg. 124: Enfeeblement spell; Add: "If Enfeeblement is cast upon a creature without an endurance or strength score, the creature’s maximum health points are reduced by ½, and it applies a -4 damage modifier to all attacks."
pg. 130: Implore spell; Duration should be "6 hours".
pg. 228: Table 3.3.6: Wands; Add note for "Circle Range*": *Indicates the possible spell Circles of the caster who created the wand. Circle Range is provided for spells with effects that are modified by the Circle of the caster."
Note: Minor errors will be corrected in future print runs. I will indicate when these occur. _________________ Take a page out of the Unicorn Bible and dance all night by the Light of the Dragon's flame. -Champions of Breakfast

Good candidate for WGJ, maybe the first or back page could be a cumulative errata update. _________________ Magic helps you. |

pg. 238 : The layout of the Firearms paragraphs is somewhat confusing.
Should you print some new GM screens, it would be great if the Disciplines table could be updated with the corrected prerequisite for Advanced Counterattack.
It would also be nice if a distance scale could be added to the world map on page 414.
Erratum of the errata : Martial Knowledge is actually on page 187.
By the way, thanks for the limited amount of errata and typos for such a hefty tome. Many bigger companies don't do anywhere near as good a job.

pg. 18: Evasion; in the example, I think dodge should be effectively 16 for all melee opponents whose initiatives are 7 or lower instead of 6. _________________ My campaign's rules

Here's a couple of others :
pg. 124: Eye of God spell; "preist" should read "priest".
pg. 130: Implore spell; special duration is not precised in text.
Also, I'm wondering, are the hermetic and faith based Enfeeblement spells' effects different (3d4 END & 5d4 STR vs 4d4 END & 4d4 STR) by accident or design (I'm suspecting the latter)? Would a creature without an endurance or strength score also suffer from the reduction of his maximum health points by half and a -4 damage modifier to all attacks when the spell is cast by a priest as it is for a wizard?
I sure hope I do not start to sound like an annoying nitpick... _________________ My campaign's rules

While I'm at it :
pg. 9: Step 7; "Flush" should read "Flesh".
pg. 31: Character Personality; "flushed-out" should read "fleshed-out".
pg. 192: Wilderness Lore; "access the dangers" should read "assess the dangers". _________________ My campaign's rules

Ha, wow.
'Flushed out' is pretty funny, and hey- maybe with Wildnerness Lore, you WANT to access the danger. Kinda what gaming is all about!
Swill is on it I'm sure. _________________ The GM is your friend. |
