Rockin. 20 Hp and a 12 dodge. Picked up Weapon Mastery II, Shield Use, and World Knowledge.

t's been a long time since I rock and rolled,
It's been a long time since I did the Stroll.
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back,
Let me get it back, baby, where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time. Yes it has.

Ivy is Better!

She has improved her Magical Potency, become healthier and slightly stronger at magic, and improved her persuasion, lockpicking, and stealth skills.

She is much tastier, and ready for action, as long as the action involves messing up some cockmongers from over there.

Gustav has religious knowledge I and got another grade in ancient history. He saved up his DP so he can grab either 3rd circle hedge or Ritual Magic next level, the next step on his crypto-religious descent into insanity as a result of his encounters with so many odd relics. And he seems to have created life!

I'm all set. 28hp. more attacks, persuasion, and perception.

So, how's our Ettin friend? You know, the punchy one.

"WTF did you get yourself into kid?"

Great. All stats are updated to the best of my knowledge on the short summary page.

...

Gellan says: "I don't know what happened! This guy was a guard here. His name is Grellan. Ironic, huh?"

Grellan rolls his eyes.

"That's annoying you know. Anyway, you guys gotta help me! This really sucks!"

"Tell me about it," says Grellan, rolling his eyes again.

"Anyway, you guys are smart and know magic and stuff. Maybe, like, you know how if you glue something you can make a potion and unglue it? Maybe it's just like that!"

...

The Harold-Gustav ettin really doesn't have a plan, so they'll come with you too. "Uh yeah, some de-ettin glue would be great. Anyway, what's next on the ticket?"

@the witches "So we got your pot, uh, you have any idea what's going on here? I mean there was some no trespassing tape upstairs, and some weird magic going on, any clue what's going on? Oh, and with that pot can you guys whip of some potions of Fix, I mean the downstairs seem kinda dark, and we might have to expend some serious resources to get the rest of the stuff you wanted. I know we have a deal, and I'm all game for it, but if you are really serious about this stuff, maybe you could help us recoup our loses. I'm not sure you thought we could do this, but it seems like we might be able to."

Persuasion is a 19.

basically I'm fishing for what's going on, and I'll press Gel a bit more on the whole WTF thing.

I get out of this ettin suit. No offense Gustav. -We were a hell of a team. It just chafes a little.

Can the witches do something about Gellan/Grellan? This really isn't right. And is our Gustold ettin still around? Odd magicks here.

I do some stretches and prepare to descend into the depths.

One of the Spider Ladies says:

"At the top is a dragon. A fierce son of a bitch who just wants to be left alone. Downstairs, below the old librarian quarters, powerful alien magician twins have made their stronghold. No one really passes up or down past them."

Another one says:

"Arangul was fated to destroy this tower, again and again. In every era, another Arangul's black heart wilts and dies, summoning Zhol to this place and damning us all over again."

"The townsfolk are pretty sick of it. Property values here are absurdly low."

...

Nice talking Tanner. The witches brew up two Potions of Fix for each of you. You just sort of set the extras on those dudes passed out in the tart.

Gellan says: "Yeah, please! Can you help me?"

Grellan says: "[To Gellan] Shut up loser. [To the witches] Can you help ME?"

Gellan: "Just stop this crazy thing! It's like worse than my worst nightmare!"

The spider ladies sort of stare.

"Hmm."

"Umm."

"Nope, sorry."

Gellan and Grellan: "God DAMN it!"

...

The Hustav ettin seems to have a Versace wallet and pulls out some cash, buys himself a nice new suit. "Ready to rock. Let's kill some monsters and get some treasure."

Hustav, or Gurold, or Hurtlove or whomever sort of stares at Harold and Gustav. "That's totally freaky."

Seriously? A dragon? Do you know its name? Is there a princess up there?

So we need to get a signed copy of Twilight. Ep. Ack, vomit-burp. Ok, so we'll go to the library first. Do we need a card?

I've got a Potion of Fix. That's kind of funny as it is supposed to target items. How do you fix a broken wagon with a Potion of Fix? No, it's just the shameless gaming of a Hedge magic spell. Oh well.

Karl's sword in hand, I lead our descent into depths.

The spider maiden sighs. "The dragon's name is Balki. Or Falco or something."

The awesome thing is how much is costs to make a Potion of Fix. You now owe the spider maidens something like... 16000 royals. Go get their damn book and they'll waive the charges.

...

You head downstairs. There is a vampire here. The vampire is sitting on a chest. The vampire is reading a book about vampires. The vampire attacks.

Ah, brother of the night, well met. Even in this pale light I can see that you are a member of the Clan of the Usurper, or as mortals might say... the Tremere. I have no qualm with you dark one.

It is only that I seek a book. This book is titled: "Twilight". Apparently it is all the rage. Perhaps you possess such a book? Is that it there? Can I see it?

1... 2... 3...

SCISSORS.

The vampire throws paper. "Damn blah blah." He tears one of his flag-football flags off.

Tanner your attacks are sort of ineffectual.

"One blah blah... two blah blah... three blah blah!"

The vampire throws paper again.
