To clarify something that may have confused other people as well, I only just figured out that what I was reading as "Novice Gelling" was actually "Gellan." So yeah, I've been responding as if I was one of the novices and Riley was telling me the tale of Star Wars. Let's just say I was listening in.

On a related note, can you give Gellan a first name already, having another novice alchemist with nearly the same name as myself is confusing.

Ha, I didn't even pick up on that. I just thought you liked the story. Smile

Oh I do. It'd make one hell of a movie, whatever that is!

Yeah, I just thought it was testament to Harold's riveting storytelling skills.

Guild protocol is usually to address one as TITLE FIRSTNAME, as in "Apprentice Gustav" rather than "Apprentice Gelling".

So Novice Gellan Zandich will go by Novice Gellan, or Gellan, or preferably, and what I'll usually use, his nickname: Gel.

Pronounced with a hard 'g', not 'jell' like hair gel, but 'ghel'.

The one time one of my silent h's would have made a difference, and I leave it out. Damn Gossick language.

...

Sorry 'bout the mixup Gustav. From now on, it's Gel and Gustav.
