Hi there. So I did a thing:

www.rcvf.net/music

A repository for my mixes. Only three up right now, but more to come through the night as I've got time to upload. Thoughts/feelings/complaints all welcome.

I'm downloading Hello 2009 right now.

I like the garage feel of the site. It might get ridiculously long though as the mixes come in. You might need to give each its own page. A minor fix in that direction would be to have the front and back cover pics side by side.

EDIT: Hello 2009 downloaded fine. I'm kicking it.

Cool, thanks. Actually what I'd like to do is have links in the 'short list' down to the tracklistings. I've seen tons of websites that do this, but can't think of any off the top of my head for where to steal the html code.

Know what I'm talking about, and how to do that?

And, each of these mixes is 150 Mb, a bit bigger and higher-res than the standard 115 Mb 80-min mix. Any thoughts on whether 150 Mb is too big, if downloads are too slow?

Ha, that's DJ Earworm. Yeah, he's good- a San Francisco mashup DJ who's known for like packing in samples from about a dozen songs per track, kinda like Girl Talk.

So this mix was all about trying to get down around 80 bpms to use all these great leftfield hip-hop tracks.

Two more up, that's it for now.

Nothing too crazy- electro redux, and Man Ray trance/new wave... so if you're looking for the killer Mike Jones or Pink remixes, they just gotta wait.
